I’m Verena — a transdisciplinary artist grounded in design and animation, based in Vienna, Austria.

I work at the intersection of design, new media, and social issues, bringing together my creative practice with journalistic and research-based approaches. I studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and at the Universidade das Belas Artes in Porto, where I further developed my skills as an intern at BAP Animation Studios.

Through intensive collaboration with the editorial team at ORF Topos I’ve learned that thorough research and fact-checking aren’t just important — they’re essential.

I dive deep into every topic. To tell a meaningful story,
I need to become an expert myself. This ensures that my visuals are accurate and trustworthy.
